CORONAVIRUS ORIGINS: "RAISE BATS AND THEIR FRIENDS OR STARVE TO DEATH"
The following is based upon Trump's Wuhan War and Other Epic Battles and Heroics by Scott Campbell.
China strived for economic transformation in the 1990s and that included boosting up food production by industrial means. Big populations require big food supplies. Mom and pop farmers and livestock producers got squeezed out both financially and geographically. No longer able to raise cattle or pigs, they began farming niche wild animals. Bats, Pangolins, and tasty snakes and other wild beasts became alternative food products. More and more land grabs by the evil Commie Deep State forced the fringe farmers further and further out into the wilds and close and closer to Bat-and-Virus Land. The small farmers had little choice, bring bats and such to market or starve to death. Therefore from the 1990s on, wild or exotic foods became normalized in Chinese culture and sold in wet markets named for their steeping in blood and guts. There were serious consequences, not only to the Chinese but to the world. The newly farmed remote areas, where the land could not be cultivated anyway, were infested with blood-sucking bats and their plethora of accompanying viruses. The demands of the expanding and environmentally unconscious Chinese, sucking up land for industrial food production, and forcing small players further out, resulted in human infections of animal origin, much like HIV and Ebola in Africa. Modern farming frenzies have been counteracted by Nature and Darwin's Ghost with human disease stemming from virus-carrying animals. It's Nature vs Man, and Nature landed solid punches with "zoonoses" over the past decades: SARS, HIV, EBOLA, and now novel coronavirus. Remember the "swine" flu? Hint: it came from swine. But don't call it the "swine flu," the swine might be offended and you might find yourself labeled a swine bigot. Modern poultry farming with inhumane claustrophobic conditions breeds flu viruses as well as a bunch of stressed-out chickens. From bats, apparently in combination with Pangolins, or in somebody's death lab, arose the novel coronavirus in November of 2019. The Chinese knew about the coronavirus in December, if not November, and enough to destroy evidence of its discovery and potency to spawn a pandemic. Proper action, including quarantines, would have prevented the pandemic. Censorship, forced of recanting true statements by medical personnel, and state punishment became the favored policy over quarantine. See my other blogs for possible motives as to why the Chinese government permitted the pandemic to ensue and why our Democratic party and other liberals around the world helped disseminate disinformation about it and helped spread the virus quickly.
